Overview
Paint Finish, 7-Year to 25-Year Warranty Coverage
Invicta Door® warrants residential garage door sections against material manufacturing defects and workmanship, such as splitting, cracking, peeling and rusting (exterior only). Surface rust, chips and/ or scratches in the paint which result in cosmetic or surface corrosion or normal fading or discoloration from UV sun rays or use are not covered are not covered. Application of non-factory paint on the exterior or interior face voids this warranty.
*Applied to the original purchaser for the location of original installation and excludes non-single family homes. The garage door is fully warranted for the first year after installation and pro-rated for the subsequent years, based on the years remaining on the warranty period. The value of the warranty reimbursement is calculated on the sales price paid by the original purchaser (excluding taxes, fees, and installation), multiplied by the percentage of remaining time left on the warranty
Hardware & Spring, 3-Year Warranty Coverage
Invicta Door® warrants all functional hardware (hinges, rollers, track and similar hardware) and springs against defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of purchase. Hi-lift or vertical lift applications are not covered under this warranty.
Glass & Inserts Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty excludes all warranties for single pane glass and insulated window components (glass and inserts). Upon purchase, Invicta Door® will transfer any and all warranties provided by the original glass/inserts manufacturer to the purchaser.
Exclusions for Damage or Deterioration
Normal wear, intentional abuse, improper use or alteration, installation or maintenance, use of pressure washers, rust caused by damages or scratching, exposure to condensation, water, fire, corrosive or harsh chemicals, fumes or foreign substances in the atmosphere, salt environments including coastal areas (within 2 miles), defects in paints or coatings used to finish door sections outside the original manufacturing, any product or component that is altered, modified or not a part of the original door, shipping, installation and labor charges, an act of God, vandalism or graffiti, other accident of casualty, or radiation exposure. This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than Invicta Door® or failure to follow all installation and maintenance instructions. In the event of repairs or replacement of original materials or components during the warranty period by anyone other than Invicta Door® or an authorized dealer, you are responsible for paying for such repairs or parts without recourse from Invicta Door®, and the warranty shall be void with respect to such repairs, alterations and replacements. The obligation of Invicta Door® under this warranty shall at all times be subject to the then current warranty policies and procedures at the time the warranty claim is submitted. Routine maintenance or minor adjustments are excluded in this warranty, and this warranty does not extend to claims for products that have in anyway been altered, processed, or misused.
NEITHER ANY PERFORMANCE OR OTHER CONDUCT, NOR ANY ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION, STATEMENT OR ADVICE PROVIDED BY US OR ANY OF OUR DEALERS, AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES WILL CREATE A WARRANTY, OR IN ANY WAY INCREASE THE SCOPE OR DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY CLAIM, DISPUTE OR CONTROVERSY (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, WHETHER PRE-EXISTING, PRESENT OR FUTURE, AND INCLUDING STATUTORY, CONSUMER PROTECTION, COMMON LAW, INTENTIONAL TORT, INJUNCTIVE AND EQUITABLE CLAIMS) BETWEEN YOU AND INVICTA DOOR® ARISING FROM OR RELATING IN ANY WAY TO YOUR PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, WILL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY AND FINALLY BY BINDING ARBITRATION, administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with the Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. Any award of the arbitrator(s) will be final and binding, and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Submitting a Claim
In the event of a defective component, contact the installing dealer the door was purchased from within fifteen (15) days from defect discovery. Invicta Door® reserves the right to inspect alleged defective and to verify warranty eligibility. Upon inspection and verified eligibility, Invicta Door® will repair, repaint or replace the defective products. Coverage for any charges related to but not limited to freight, removal, installation, painting or labor will be at the discretion of Invicta Door®. Manufactured from exceptional materials, Invicta Door® commercial garage doors are crafted with quality workmanship by Invicta Door®, a division of The McAlear Group, Inc. The Invicta Door® Commercial Sectional Doors Limited Warranty applies to complete commercial sectional doors (sections and functional hardware) for the intended purpose under normal use. The commercial sectional doors must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This Limited Warranty is valid to the original end-use purchaser only and is non-transferable or assignable in whole or part. Registration of the garage door with Invicta Door® is required within 90 days of installation for warranty to be applicable
Paint Finish, 10-Year Warranty Coverage
Invicta Door® warrants installed commercial door sections against material manufacturing defects and workmanship, such as splitting, cracking, peeling and rusting (exterior only) for ten (10) years from the date of purchase. Surface rust, chips and/or scratches in the paint which result in cosmetic or surface corrosion or normal fading or discoloration from UV sun rays or use are not covered. Application of non-factory paint on the exterior or interior voids this warranty.
Hardware & Spring, 1-Year Warranty Coverage
Invicta Door® warrants all functional hardware (hinges, rollers, track and similar hardware) and springs against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

How do I submit a claim? - Homeowners
Contact your installing dealer with your warranty registration number. The installation dealer will initiate the claim process.
Where can I find my serial number?
Where can I find my registration number?
Registration ID confirmations are emailed to homeowners after the registration process is complete. If you cannot locate the email, you can contact our sales department or your installing dealer.
How do I find out when my product was installed?
A copy of your installation invoice will be required at the time of registration. If the invoice does not show an installation date, the date of the invoice will be a suitable reference.
What if my installer is not a customer?
You will need to contact the installation company and provide them with your registration number. The installing dealer will facilitate your warranty claim through their distributor.
Standard & SSC DuraMaster® Springs
Do standard, oil-tempered, springs need to be registered for warranty?
Standard springs 2.625” ID and below have a 2-year warranty period from the invoice date. Springs with an ID greater than 2.625” will have a warranty period of 90-days from the invoice date. No registration is needed.
Do DuraMaster springs need to be registered for warranty?
What if DuraMaster springs are not registered?
If springs are not registered, they will hold a 90-day manufacture warranty*.

What install types are covered under warranty?
Do commercial springs hold a warranty?
Anything above a 2.625” ID are considered commercial springs and hold a 90-day manufacture warranty*.

What will be replaced if the spring or cones break within the warranty period?
Springs that were assembled by SSC will be replaced with complete assembled replacement to match original order. Springs that cone installation was completed by installing dealer will receive a wire-only replacement.
Can an extended warranty be added for DuraMaster springs?
No. Homeowners cannot purchase an extended warranty.
Invicta Door®
Do Invicta Doors need to be registered for warranty?
What if the Invicta door is not registered?
Doors not registered will hold a 1-year manufacture warranty from the invoiced date.
Do new build installation sites need to be registered within 90 days of installation?
New Builds will have 180 days from installation to register doors for warranty.
Does the warranty cover sections only?
Doors sold as sections-only qualify for paint finish warranty only.
What’s required to file a claim?
What happens if the installing dealer is no longer in business or is not an Invicta customer?
Does anything need to be returned when filing a warranty claim?
Any section/complete door replacements will need to be returned to a sales center for inspection. Pictures of each section’s tag and the defect must be provided.
Is there a warranty for the glass?
Yes, glass has a 5-year warranty against seal failure. Picture of the defect must be provided.
